A good pizza sauce is essential for a delicious pizza. It’s simple to make your own at home, and it’ll be tailored to your preferences. Also, this sauce doesn’t require cooking as opposed to other pizza sauce recipes in the internet.

Making your own pizza sauce at least a day ahead of time is essential. Keep a jar of sauce in the fridge at all times. It’s great on pizzas, but it’s also good on sandwiches, as a dip, or as part of a marinara sauce for any Italian cuisine.

How to make a pizza sauce from scratch

To prepare this homemade pizza sauce from scratch, simply combine your favorite tomato sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, dried oregano and basil then season it with salt and pepper. Give it a stir, and you’re ready to go.

How to Store

This recipe can serve 4 9-inch round pizzas. Or you can use as dipping sauce or use as part of marinara sauce as previously mentioned. In case of left-over, you can use it some time later if properly stored.
