It is not too sweet and the sweetness comes naturally from the blueberry and the oreo cookies. Combine with the tangy taste of the cream cheese makes this dessert worth a try. Tips on how to make blueberry cream cheese desserts
I used Oreo biscuits and crushed them to make the crust, making look like a cheesecake. You can use graham crackers or other crackers or biscuits to make the crust. After combining the melted butter, refrigerate it for at least 10 minutes to settle.
Make sure to use cold whipped cream so that it will be easy to cream and double in size. But the cream cheese needs to be at room temperature so that it will blend easily.
I cooked the blueberries just a bit to completely incorporate with the sugar. You can skip this if you like and just mix them.
You can pipe the cream cheese mixture into each cup for easier distribution. The cream cheese mixture is thick so it will be somehow hard to pour into each cups. If you don’t have a piping bag, you can use a sandwich bag, pour the cream cheese, cut a small portion at the side then pipe. Otherwise, you can use a spoon or spatula.
You can make this ahead of time. After you make it, store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
If you have an occasion coming up, you may want to try this recipe as well as the other recipes that I served on my daughter’s birthday celebration. Happy Tummy!
