Tahini Sauce Recipe

This tahini sauce goes well with your falafel, falafel wrap, fresh and roasted vegetables, flatbread or toasted pita wedges or as salad dressing. A go to sauce for most of your Middle Eastern dish!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or fresh garlic clove, crushed
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • water

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine all ingredients except water. Mix well until well blended and free from lumps.
  • Add a little bit of water at a time and whisk until the mixture is thoroughly combined. Add more water according to the desired consistency.
  • Adjust if necessary, if you like more tang, add lemon or salt for more overall flavor.
  • Serve with falafel, falafel wrap, fresh and roasted vegetables, flatbread or toasted pita wedges or as salad dressing.
