1teaspooncayenne powder -- or pickled/fresh jalapeno, seeds removed
¼teaspoonground cumin
⅛teaspoonsalt
⅛teaspoonground black pepper
Instructions
Combine fresh and canned tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, garlic, sugar, lime juice, cayenne powder, cumin, salt and pepper in a food processor. Pulse processor until mixture is combined, yet remains chunky.
Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving with your favorite Mexican food.
Store left-over in the refrigerator and in a sealed container for up to 1 week.
