Simple homemade guacamole dip recipe that uses fresh ingredients; ripe avocados, jalapeno, onion, chopped tomato, fresh lime juice, cilantro and salt. Serve it as a dip at your next party or make it as a side dish in your low card diet.
½cuppickled jalapeno, seeds removed and finely chopped -- or pinch of ground cayenne pepper
¼cupred onion, minced
1mediumtomato, seeds and pulp removed, diced
1tablespoonfresh lime juice or lemon juice
2tablespoonscilantro, finely chopped
¼teaspoonsalt
⅛teaspoonground cumin
Instructions
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit and skin and place in a mixing bowl.
Mash the avocados with a fork or a smasher, make it as chunky or smooth as you desired.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir together until well combined.
Serve immediately or wrap in a plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour if serving before a party.
