Easy low carb cauliflower crust Hawaiian pizza topped with homemade pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pineapple chunks, cooked ham and bacon. It’s tasty and guilt-free pizza, and so easy to make!
2-3tablespoonspizza sauce - homemade or store-bought
200gramsmozzarella cheese
½cupcooked ham, cut into small squares
½cuppineapple chunks
3slicesbacon, cooked and crumbled
Instructions
Crust:
Preheat oven to 400 °F/ 200 °C.
In a microwave-safe bowl, cover bowl with plastic wrap and microwave the cauliflower rice for 5 minutes on high. Remove out from the microwave, take away the cover and stir. Let it cool completely.
While waiting for the cauliflower rice to come to room temperature. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg, then add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried oregano.
After the cauliflower has cooled down, lay it on a kitchen towel or cheesecloth and squeeze out all of the liquid. Squeeze out as much liquid as you can.
Add the squeezed cauliflower rice into the egg mixture and toss the parmesan cheese. Mix until the mixture resembles like a dough. Spread the cauliflower mixture in the shape of a pizza crust into a parchment paper.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and crispy.
Let it cool for 1-2 minutes before putting the toppings.
Note: Leave the oven turned ON while topping the crust.
Assembly & Baking:
Using a pastry brush, lightly brush olive oil over the top of the crust. This is to prevent the cauliflower pizza from being rehydrated.
Spread around 2-3 tablespoons of pizza sauce, leaving about ½ inch border.
Top with mozzarella cheese, pineapple chunks, cooked ham and bacon.
Bake for around 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
